Protected against extreme weather conditions

Because the smart ground spots are mounted in the ground, it is extremely important that they are well protected against dust and water. Hoftronic Smart ground spots have a protection degree of IP67, which makes them waterproof. So you do not have to worry about a rain shower. However, we do advise you to place the smart ground spots on a flat piece, so that rainwater does not remain on the smart ground spot, but can drain away.

Create an attractive garden with smart ground spots

For extra illumination of objects, paths, facades, shrubs or trees, the smart LED ground spots of Hoftronic Smart are ideal. The smart ground spots not only provide extra lighting in a dark room or environment, but they also create atmosphere. The smart ground spots are lamps in which the fixture is incorporated into the ground. Only the top of the smart ground spot is visible. So the light beam also goes straight up. The intention is therefore that the light beam can reflect against something, like an object.

Are you looking for smart garden lighting in which the fixture is placed above the ground? Then you are probably looking for smart garden spike lights. Hoftronic Smart spike lights are tiltable and therefore have an adjustable light beam direction. This also creates extra atmosphere in your front or back garden.

Installing the smart ground spots

The smart ground spots can be controlled via the Hoftronic Smart app. The app can be downloaded for free via Google Play or the Apple Store. When connecting the ground spots to the Hoftronic Smart App, we recommend that you sit within 2 metres of your router with the product. Then set your WiFi network to 2.4GHz, and turn off 5GHz. Once you have connected the lights, you can place them where you want. Make sure that the smart ground spots have a strong WiFi connection at the desired location. If this is not the case, the smart ground spots may not work optimally.
