Smart GU10 LED lamps

The 3 GU10 smart LED lamps in the starter pack are from the smart home brand Hoftronic Smart. The lamps consume only 5.5 Watt, which means that they are also energy-efficient and sustainable. They replace a 50 Watt halogen lamp. With a luminous flux of 345 lumens, the GU10 smart LED lamps have a high light output. The smart bulbs can be controlled via the Hoftronic Smart App on your smartphone or tablet and are fully adjustable. You can adjust the colours, the light intensity, set timers for your lamps and much more! You can do this whenever you want, wherever you are. The GU10 smart LED lamps can also be linked to your smart assistant. This way you can control your smart lighting by voice, for example through Amazon Alexa or Google Home.

Smart LED Strip

The smart LED strip is also of the Hoftronic Smart brand, and can be controlled via the Hoftronic Smart App. A remote control is also supplied with the LED strip, which can only be used to operate the strip. The separate lamps should be operated via the App. The smart strip is 5 metres long and is easy to install thanks to the adhesive side on the back. So you can stick the smart LED strip wherever you want: in your wardrobe, behind your TV or computer screen, in an open cupboard or on the ceiling. You can be as creative as you want with it. The smart LED strip has an IP65 protection rating, making it suitable for both indoors and outdoors. Please note that the power cord has an IP20 protection degree. If you install the strip outside, we recommend you purchase a waterproof junction box for your power cord. The strip consumes 24 Watts and has a luminous flux of 1920 lumens. The smart LED strip can be shortened per 50 cm. A sealing cap is not needed. Please note that the strip cannot be extended. 

Easy installation of the starter pack

Creating a smart home has never been easier. The GU10 smart lamps have an GU10 fitting, which is one of the most common fittings. You'll often find this fitting in recessed downlights. The only thing you need to do to transform a normal lamp into a smart bulb is to unscrew your normal GU10 LED bulb from the fixture and screw the GU10 smart bulb in. Link your smart GU10 lamps via your WiFi network (on 2.4GHz) to the Hoftronic Smart App on your phone, set the lamps as you wish, and you're done!

The smart LED strip is just as easy to install and set up on the Hoftronic Smart App. Thanks to the adhesive side on the back of the strip, you can place the smart LED strip wherever you want. If you want to be extra sure that the smart LED strip is properly mounted, you can always choose to use mounting clips. We recommend to use 4 mounting clamps per meter.
