Installing smart garden lights

The smart garden lighting of Hoftronic Smart is easy to operate via the Hoftronic Smart. The garden lighting is linked to the app on your smartphone via your WiFi network. Make sure you are close to your router to make the first connection between the device and the WiFi (click here for the instructions). Once the lights are connected, you can mount them at the desired location. Make sure that you mount the garden lighting in a place where there is a strong WiFi signal. If this is not the case, the smart garden lights will not function optimally.

Controlling smart garden lights with the app

When you have connected and installed your Hoftronic Smart garden lighting, it's time to adjust the lights to your liking. On the Hoftronic Smart app you will find different functionalities. You can control the lights directly, wherever you are, with the push of a button. You can also set scenes for your outdoor lighting. With a scene you save certain settings that you can switch on with a push of a button. 

Outdoor lighting creates atmosphere of course, but it can also serve for extra safety. Nobody likes to look outside and only see a black hole. In the Hoftronic Smart App you have the possibility to use timetables. The smart garden lighting can also be set to time schedules. You set the times when your outdoor lighting is automatically switched on and off. This way you make sure that your garden is always well lit, even when you're not at home.

Controlling your garden lights voice-activated

In addition to operation with your smartphone or tablet, you also have the option of voice control of your garden lighting. For this you do need a smart speaker or a smart assistant. Think for example of Google Home or Amazon Alexa. With your smart asisstant you can use speech to turn your lights on and off, adjust the brightness, and change the light colours. You can do this from the comfort of your lazy chair.

Smart lights besides garden lights

The intelligent garden lighting of Hoftronic Smart is of course suitable for outdoor use. Are you looking for smart lamps for your home? Then take a look at the LED bulbs.
